Maybe you know Berghain, one of the most famous clubs in the world, located in Berlin. Now Berghain has been sued for tax fraud. It is soooo funny. I mean is a club not meant to do exactly that, not pay tax. Anyhow, Berghain is the place you would wear Zacharia Angel to, actually you might rip the clothes apart before you go. Andreas would not mind, as long as you buy another set of clothes after a full party night out where the clothes did not survive the event.

It is a life style brand, hence Zacharia Angel presented a very different kind of show. It is about feeling good and making everyone understand that life is one long party. So he dressed all his models sort of the same way, girls jeans and bra, and boys jeans and T-Shirt. And then there was campaign, and everyone dancing on the catwalk. Maybe he missed the catwalk concept, but let me tell you, he is remembered by everyone who was in the audience. So mission completed!!

MRJ has dedicated her design career to solving the hand bag problem. No longer do you need to use your hands to have all your valuables with you while at the same time look great. Josephine Raffaella Magno, the designer of MRJ, creates accessories pieces with integrated bag space. Honestly I am wondering when all the big celebrities are going to pick up on it. Girls like Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Kim Kardashian and the lot, would greatly benefit from the bags during one of their drunk nights out. But hey it really is not a bag for only It-Girls it really is a bag for everyone who would rather like to use both hands than just one, while at the same time add a cool accessory piece.

MRJ shared her show during MQ Vienna Fashion Week with Pebelle. The lable Pebelle is loud and colorful. If you need some serious fun in your wardrobe get some of those amazing pieces from Pebelle. Petra Kräutner, the designer, says about herself “Call me a tie dye punk. I live my passion for textiles, arts, pop culture & fashion and do a zigzag through theses crafts with an anarchistic attitude.”

Girls, great show, very well done, great concept, great responds from audience. I am really impressed by your creativity keep it up!!

What I liked about deva la vie’s show was the fact that she brought her friend a long to model her clothes. All those tattoos and rockiness gave it this special edge. You can see that deva la vie loves to combine the innocent girls with the heavy tattoo devil in all of us. Those tattoo gave the whole look a different kind of romantic chic. I love it, don’t we all want to sometimes just be out of order, just like Amy Winehouse, drink to much, have crazy tattoos, be loud and noise, and just really be too much while at the same time look cute?

So if this is you, here is your label, deva la vie does the trick for you.

Her clothes are stunning, we had so many people come to the Pop Up Store keen on buying her collection. You can tell, her clothes are made with a lot of love and passion. Every detail is well thought through, hence the show was also stunningly choreographed.

I really love it when a designer not just presents his or her collection, but thinks of something different to entertain the audiance. Those designers understand the importance of marketing and being rememberd by people.

The JSP collection is really for everyone who is looking for a great addition to his/her wardrobe. Her clothes will not dominate but rather support your looks, which I love the most. You can easily combine her dresses, jumpsuits, coats with what you already own.

Very well done, great show, great effort, great result!!

It was a lot of work and in between we wondered whether we are going to make it through the day, but in the end, everything was fantastic. We really had a great time and are really grateful for everyone who came by and supported nelou and the designers.

nelou presented: JPS from Slovenia, Pebelle, MRJ and deva la vie from Austria, and Zacharia Angel from Switzerland.

We also launched our very first nelou.mag which was quite a success. I really wonder where we are going, sooo many opportunities right now.

When you organise an event like a Fashion Show, let me tell you, the atmosphere behind the scenes is crazy. Models everywhere, clothes all over the place, hair and makeup artists in between and you need to stay calm to get everyone organised. Now imagine we had five designers, so the buzz was five times as much. You always think it must be glamorous behind the scenes. But it is nothing like that! You probably think those models don’t even eat, wrong again, there is a huge fridge with food. The models are really disciplined, their jobs are really demanding. As a model you show up at 6am in the morning for the fittings which runs until around 2pm. At 3pm the first show starts and then there is a show every hour until 10pm. During the fittings and the shows it is chaos behind the scenes. A lot of models are from outside Austria, so language is another issue. And when they wait, they study or listen to music. This is when it becomes really boring for them – oh and also, they don’t get clothes for free

A fashion show is a truly demanding job for everyone. But it is really rewarding in the end – when people see your stunning clothes and applaud for your hard work, you once again know why you are a designer!!!

So once again, thanks to all our designer, the organisers of the MQ Fashion Week, the models, the interns, and every one else I forgot!!!

Ina Kent’s bags remind me of “Sex and the City” – I saw them and I thought, Carrie would have loved them. “Sex and the City” was such a trend setting show. What a shame that “Sex and the City” is not part of our lives anymore – how I loved it. Those were the days, when I would meet up with my friend, cuddle up on the sofa and wait for my boyfriend at the time to bring us some Mousse au Chocolat. For sure the Mousse au Chocolat was not in line with the “Sex and the City” philosophy, but that didn’t matter. We needed the Mousse as much as “Sex and the City”.

However, the end of “Sex and the City” does not stop us from recognizing a great designer.

Ina Kent had her own fashion show during MQ Vienna Fashion Week and it was a fascinating and very inspiring show. Her love for details, her choice of leather, and her color schemes make the bags exciting and outstanding. For sure, those bags could be one of your next best friends, and believe me, it will stay there for a while. This is not a bag which is “in” one season and then “out” the next one.

Well done Ina Kent – I would have loved to see your bags on Carrie’s shoulder in one of the “Sex and the City” episodes. But this does not stop me from loving them anyhow.
