Because Vogue Italia would love Callisti

Italian Vogue, or Vogue Italia, is one of, if not the most influential and least commercial magazines that is out on the shelves to date. I would go as far as to say that it is THE fashion magazine of the world! I say this simply because magazine is not for the fashionably week of heart. Vouge Italia is filled with  provocative and shocking photoshoots as well as addressing highly contoversial issues, publishing editorials confronting celebrity rehab and racial inequality within the fashion industy.

But when Vouge Italia is not tackling such touchy subjects owner Condé Nast is filling the pages with High End fashion that is lusted over by millions. Cutting edge technologies and stunning designs is the main focus for the magazine as well as  the consumers. Those reading Vouge Italia are searching for the ‘next best thing‘ in fashion, and I do believe that a spread showcasing Designer Martina Mueller’s label Callisti fits into this category.

Callisti is a label that I would say defies limits and boundaries that seem to sometimes constrict the fashion industry in terms of creativity and forward thinking, which is so despirately needed to constantly evolve. Hard lines paired with soft and wearable fabrics, accented with leathers, and highlighted with impecable tailoring is, I think, the perfect formula to propel Callisti into the lime-light and gain the Vogue Italia status that is well deserved!
